Wine of origin Piekenierskloof. Crafted from ungrafted old bushvines planted in 1974, this Collectors Edition Pinotage is intense and vibrant, with dark red fruit, ripe cherries and plum. Powdery tannins coat the palate, leading to a long and elegant finish. Grapes were handpicked between 23.5 and 24.5 balling. Fermentation took place in open fermenters for 10 days, with the cap punched down by hand every 8 hours. The wine was then matured in older 600L French oak barrels for 13 months.
A strictly limited release of only 866 individually numbered bottles. After your purchase, the La Petite Ferme team will contact you personally to select your bottle number and register your name and details, so that you receive an official Certificate of Authenticity for your bottle.

La Petite Ferme Wines
Our boutique-style cellar, nestled on 15 hectares, meticulously crafts wines that reflect Franschhoek’s terroir. Sensitively navigating diversity, we let the grapes lead, ensuring each bottle encapsulates the region’s essence.
At the heart of our winemaking lies a profound belief that every bottle tells a unique story. Each vintage, each varietal, is a chapter in the ongoing narrative of our land, our vines, and the delicate interplay of nature’s elements. We are co-creators with nature. This partnership requires care at every stage, from the vineyard to the cellar. Our approach is one of gentle stewardship, allowing the grapes to express their true character and potential without imposing a predetermined outcome.
